You could say every shoe in the Zuriick line was built with Ake as the foundation. More than just the design, Ake epitomizes the vision and philosophy of the Zuriick brand itself.  Simple and light with a canvas upper and rubber outsole, this unassuming shoe can be worn with anything by anyone. With 4 new colors out this Spring, Ake now comes in 8 total for even more versatility. It was the first – the pure, unadulterated symbol of what Zuriick was going to be. Jesse Returns
Some things never change, and when it comes to friendship, that’s a good thing. When I received an email from Jesse saying he would be in town over the holidays, it gave me something to look forward to at a time of year I usually can’t wait to get through. Jesse is like a brother to me, so despite the fact that it had been at least 6 months since I’d seen the guy, I knew we would pick up right where we left off. The fortnight of his… Read the rest
pull your inside out
Imagine yourself staring into a black hole. Feel its icy fingers reach into the pit of your soul and pull your inside out. Rushing air, chasing lights, blackness, light pulses behind your lids. Swirling thoughts become visions. Brilliant colors snap like a camera shutter. You feel warm. Then light stays constant and pulls you up through the layers. Your eyes are open.

East Coastin’
After spending the past year in the Far East, its been nice to experience a change of scenery spending time along the snowy shores of America’s East Coast.
My job in Shanghai afforded me the opportunity to spend a week in New York City working the tradeshow circuit. Rubbing shoulders with some of the best brands in the world and hanging with old friends. All while staying at the perfectly curated Ace Hotel, room 428 to be specific.

A Short Trip South
In an attempt to escape frigid winter temperatures last weekend, some of us headed south to Zion National Park in Southern Utah. While we may not have entirely succeeded in our search for balmy weather, we did succeed in eating some good food, drinking some good beer and creating some good memories. Here’s a small look at some photos of the trip. Stay tuned for more to come.
Where We Work
Inspired by the website work.place, which features various creative work spaces around Portland, we decided to give you a little glimpse into our own work space.
Celebrating with friends
Typically, as a company, we go out to lunch for our holiday party. This year we decided we’d make it a little more personal and have the party at Spencer’s humble abode. Thanks to Spencer and Alex for hosting. Happy Holidays!!

Go West Young Man
Meet Wyatt and Emmett, our newest additions to the Zuriick line. These classic designs are reminiscent of the days when men shaved with a knife and women wore suspenders to the post office. Both have a stacked heel, rubber tread and square jaw; Emmett, for those of you who prefer smooth skin and Wyatt for a more rugged look. Expand your collection and fulfill your destiny.
